The latest United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund’s (Unicef) data in 2016 showed that more than one in five of Malaysian children under five are stunted, or at 20.7 per cent. The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines stunting as “a form of growth failure which develops over a long period of time in children under five years of age when growing with limited access to food, health and care”. Malaysia’s National Health and Morbidity Survey 2016 had previously found that 28 per cent of children below two in Putrajaya, the nation’s administrative capital, suffer from stunting.

Obesity is a leading preventable cause of death worldwide, with increasing rates in adults and children. As we all know, obesity is mostly preventable through a combination of social changes and personal choices. According to the news attached above, the issue discussed is obesity. The case of obesity is increasing today. This happens because of the attitude of indifference to some who do not care about their health problems. As we all know, many people dying just because obesity. Most common factor that leads to obesity is negligence. Deputy Health Minister Lee Boon Chye has stated that, apathetic attitude of certain individual on their health problems which lead the individual to death. Deputy Health Minister Lee Bon Chye has also stated that the human attitude whom often uses "So what", to remove their attitude “so what” and concern about health problems can reduce the health issue of obesity among Malaysians. He also states that if someone who is obese, they are also exposed to heart disease, diabetes, stork, apnoea and so on. He also stated that obesity is not just an appearance it will also have an adverse effect on the health of people who are obese. He also hoped that Malaysia would use (Suku Suku Separuh) which would mean a quarter of carbohydrates, proteins, vegetables, fruits and others. It is also a practice that can be done in the community to make a good impact.
